Our Story
Profit Money Matters kicked off in 2019 when Sarah realized her 11-year-old had no idea what a credit score was. Fast forward to a coffee shop rant with Marcus (who'd been teaching personal finance at the high school level) and something clicked. Why wasn't anyone making this accessible? They started small—online resources, local workshops, one family at a time. Then school boards started calling. Parents were desperate. By 2021, we'd helped over 2,300 families. Now we're here in Calgary, still doing what we love: breaking down financial anxiety one conversation at a time.
